Symptoms Of Cracked Feet
Before I get started on how to get rid of cracked dry feet, it is important to determine whether you have cracked feet and not just a bit of dry skin that can be solved with a quick exfoliation.
There are some different symptoms of cracked feet with some being more severe than others. Symptoms can become more severe if you have left your cracked feet untreated for a long period.
Here are some symptoms to diagnose whether you have cracked feet:
- Rough Skin – This is a very early stage of cracked dry feet as this point, the crack on the feet has not yet appeared. This is a good time to act and treat the area before it does start forming cracks. If you notice that the skin around the edge of your heel is white-ish, hard and rough, then it could lead to cracks developing so is best treated at this early stage.
- Skin Peeling On Feet – This is also an early stage of cracked dry feet but not so early as the one before. If you notice that you have skin peeling on your feet and around the edges of your heels, then it is time start treating the area. If left untreated, cracks will start appearing which are harder to get rid of but not impossible.
- Cracks Under Dry Feet – One of the later symptoms of cracked feet is visible cracks at the bottom of your feet and around the edges of your heels. This symptom directly follows the red, flaky patches of skin, and once these cracks have formed, it is important to start treating it.
- Itchy Feet – A cracks start forming under the feet, the skin will start tightening on the top of your feet which will cause itchiness. If you find yourself having itchier feet than normal or is bothering your day to day life, then treatment is needed before any further symptoms develop.
- Itching Rash – If you do not treat your cracked feet and have been itching where the skin is tightening at the top of your feet then you may have developed a rash from all the itching.
