Hot Sun and Summery Showers

Wednesday features plenty of sun, a few clouds at times, and passing showers, especially along the Gulf coast and well inland.  A moderate risk of dangerous rip currents is in place at the beaches of Miami-Dade and Broward, while the rip current risk remains high along the Palm Beach County coast.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the upper 80s in the east coast metro area and near the very sticky 90 degree mark along the Gulf coast.

Thursday will bring good sun, a few clouds, and passing showers in spots.  Thursday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.  Trick-or-treaters might have to dodge an evening shower or two (not to mention a ghost or goblin) on Halloween.

Friday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with passing showers in the afternoon.  Friday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Faith Based Events

We’ll see more of the same on Saturday — a mix of sun and clouds with a few afternoon showers.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.  Don’t forget to set your clock back one hour on Saturday night as Daylight Saving Time ends early on Sunday — and we get an extra hour of sleep.

Look for sun, clouds, and mostly east coast showers on Sunday.  Highs on Sunday will be in the mid to upper 80s.

In the tropics, we’re still watching a non-tropical low in the north-central Atlantic that is associated with gale force winds.  This feature could acquire some subtropical characteristics during the next day or so.  It has a low chance of reaching subtropical storm or depression status during the next 5 days.
