Hot Start To The Holiday Weekend – Will Feel Like The 100’s

hot startSouth Florida is off to a hot start to the holiday weekend. After a few overnight showers, Saturday features lots of sun, some clouds on a light but hot breeze, and maybe a stray afternoon shower. Highs on Saturday will be in the low 90s, but it will feel more like the triple digits.

 

Sunday will bring plenty of sun and a few clouds. Highs on Sunday will be in the low 90s.

Look for mostly sunny skies on Memorial Day. Monday’s highs will be near the 90 degree mark.

Faith Based Events

Mostly sunny conditions continue on Tuesday, with just a cloud or two around. Highs on Tuesday will be near 90 degrees.

A nice mix of sun and clouds is in the forecast for Wednesday. Highs on Wednesday will be around the 90 degree mark again.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
