Hot, Humid And Rainy Today

humid
South Florida will be hot and humid on Tuesday — no surprise in June.  After a few early east coast showers, Tuesday features sun, clouds, and some showers and storms popping up.  Look for activity in the late morning and early afternoon in Miami-Dade and southern Broward.  Then showers and storms will develop in the interior and along the Gulf coast late in the day.  Highs on Tuesday will be near 90 degrees in the east coast metro area and a bit warmer elsewhere.
Wednesday will bring sun, clouds, and a lower chance of rain, with mostly inland isolated showers and storms.  Wednesday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.
Thursday will feature a few more showers and storms, along with hot sun and some clouds.  Thursday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
More moisture works its way in on Friday, and we’ll see sun, clouds, and passing showers and storms.  Friday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Look for sun, clouds, and some slow-moving afternoon storms on Saturday, so we could see heavy rain in spots.  Highs on Saturday will be in the low 90s.
The area of showers and storms we’ve been watching in the Gulf of Mexico has come ashore in southern Texas.  While this feature won’t develop, it will bring heavy rain to the region.
