Hot Holiday Weekend; Beware Dangerous Rip Currents

weekend

South Florida will enjoy a hot Memorial Day weekend starting on Friday.  Friday features good sun and a few clouds on a brisk ocean breeze.  But beachgoers will need to beware of a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches on Friday and throughout the long weekend.  Highs on Friday will be in the upper 80s in the east coast metro area and the low 90s along the Gulf coast and in the interior.

Saturday will be another hot and sunny day.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 80s in the east coast metro area and the low 90s elsewhere.

We’ll do it again on Sunday, with blue skies and lots of sun.  Sunday’s highs will range from the upper 80s to the low 90s.

Memorial Day will feature good sun and a few clouds to wrap up a near picture-perfect holiday weekend.  Monday’s highs will be in the upper 80s near the Atlantic coast and the low 90s elsewhere.

Tuesday will continue the streak of dry and hot days.  Highs on Tuesday will be near 90 degrees.
