Hot Breezy Friday, Tropics Heat Up

heat

South Florida will be hot, breezy again on Friday as the tropics heat up (which is no surprise for late July). Look for highs in the low 90s, but it will feel well over 100 degrees, with just a stray shower or isolated inland storm to bring any relief.

image6Saturday will bring a few early showers and the chance of an inland afternoon storm, and Sunday will be similar. Highs will be in the low 90s this weekend.

Faith Based Events

heatWe’ll be keeping an eye on the tropics this weekend as a strong wave that’s now in the central Atlantic moves to our south. The National Hurricane Center gives the wave a low chance of becoming a depression over the next 5 days, because dry air and wind shear should act to limit development.

In South Florida, Monday will be breezy, with a few early showers, maybe an afternoon storm, and highs in the low 90s, but we’ll feel the effects of the wave starting on Tuesday.

Look for passing showers and storms, gusty winds, and highs in the upper 80s, and these unsettled conditions will last through midweek.
