Heat, Showers And Storms For The Next Several Days

South Florida is stuck in our weather pattern of heat, showers, and storms on Wednesday (and for quite a while longer).  Wednesday features a mix of sun and clouds, with passing showers and a few storms mostly in the afternoon and early evening.  Highs on Wednesday will be near 90 degrees near the east coast and the low 90s elsewhere.

Thursday will bring more of the same — sun, clouds, and mainly afternoon showers and storms in spots.  Thursday’s highs will be near 90 degrees in the east coast metro area and the low 90s along the Gulf coast and in the interior.

Friday won’t end the streak, as we’ll see another day of sun, clouds, and afternoon showers and storms in some locations.

Look for slightly higher rain chances on Saturday, but we’ll still see periods of sun.  Saturday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

Faith Based Events

Sunday will feature some sun, some clouds, and passing showers and storms in spots.  Highs on Sunday will be in the low 90s.

In the tropics, the area of disturbed weather we’ve been watching in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico is not expected to develop into a tropical depression.  But the main threat from this system remains heavy rainfall in portions of Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, and the Mississippi Valley — not good news after the recent flooding.
