April heat continues in South Florida on Wednesday before a front cools us down in a couple of days. After some early morning fog in spots, Wednesday features plenty of sun, a few clouds on a hot and dry breeze, and a moderate risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches. Highs on Wednesday will be mostly in the upper 80s, but expect some locations to hit 90 degrees.
Thursday will start off with a mix of sun and clouds. Then the front will push in more clouds and some showers and storms during the afternoon and early evening. Thursday’s highs will be in the muggy low 90s.
The front clears our area overnight, and Friday morning will be cool, with lows mostly in the mid 60s. Dry air works in, and Friday will see good sun and a few clouds on a cool breeze. Friday’s highs will be in the upper 70s. Low humidity and dry conditions will increase the risk of brush fires on Friday and Saturday.
Saturday’s forecast also includes plenty of sun and a few clouds on a strong breeze. Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 70s.
Sunday will bring good sun and a few clouds. Sunday’s highs will top out in the upper 70s.
