Hard Rock Poker Room Dark Until Thursday

The poker room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is relocating to a different location on property. Casino officials announced Monday that starting Thursday, the casino’s ballrooms A&B would be the new venue. The poker room will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, May 30-31.

When the casino began offering blackjack in 2008, the poker room was moved from the main casino floor to an area in at Seminole Paradise. Now that area is being demolished as work begins on a second hotel on the property.

Players who park in the Seminole Way hotel garage can now walk to the poker tables without having to go outside, avoiding the elements.

The ballrooms often have been used for special poker events, such as the World Poker Tour and Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open tournaments. An opening time for Thursday will be provided when it becomes available. Go to SHRPO.com.
