Not known for being bashful, Florida Governor Rick Scotts PAC has released a response to the woman whose profanity-laced tirade was caught on video at a Gainesville Starbucks earlier this week.
The video – appearing on Scott’s YouTube channel “Let’s Get to Work” – replies to many of Cara Jennings concerns.
Playing a portion of the now viral YouTube clip of Jennings asking, “A million jobs? Great, who here has a great job?” an unknown male voice answers, “Well, almost everybody – except those that are sitting around coffee shops, demanding public assistance, surfing the Internet, and cursing at customers who come in.”
Jennings, a former Lake Worth city commissioner, was caught on video earlier this week calling the ever popular Governor an “asshole,” among other things. “Governor Scott Gets an Earful” has been viewed more than 2 million times.
“Latte Liberal Gets an Earful,” appeared early Friday afternoon on Scott’s official YouTube channel. It features the words “Sponsored by Let’s Get to Work,” a political action committee.
“Completely disrespectful to call the Governor names in a public setting,” Rico Petrocelli, executive director of the Broward Republican Party in Fort Lauderdale, told South Florida Reporter. “While you may not like Rick Scott personally, you should respect the office.”
Great comeback. Liberal c**t should’ve been beat down
