Good Sun and Some East Coast Showers

Friday features a mix of good, some clouds, and a few showers in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast and the Keys will be mostly sunny.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents continues at the Atlantic beaches.  Highs on Friday will be in the low-80s right at the Atlantic coast and the mid-80s elsewhere in South Florida.

Saturday will bring mostly sunny skies with periods of showers to the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will see a sunny morning, but some clouds, a few showers, and maybe a stray storm will develop in the afternoon.  Look for a mix of sun and clouds in the Keys.  Saturday’s highs will be in the mid-80s.

Sunday will feature a mix of sun, clouds, and periods of showers on the mainland, while the Keys will be mostly sunny.  Sunday’s highs will be in the mid-80s.

Monday will see a mix of sun, clouds, and periods of showers on the mainland.  Look for clouds, showers, and storms in the Keys.  Monday’s highs will be in the mid-80s on the mainland and mostly in the low-80s in the Keys.

Faith Based Events

Tuesday’s forecast calls for lots of sun along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.  The East Coast metro area will see lingering showers and a mix of sun and clouds.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid-80s on the mainland and the low-80s in the Keys.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
