Wednesday features a cool morning, followed by good sun and a few clouds on the mainland and lots of sun in the Keys.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents along the Palm Beach County coast.  Highs on Wednesday will be mostly in the upper-70s, with a few suburban locations in the East Coast metro area reaching the 80-degree mark.

Thursday will bring morning lows in the low to mid-60s on the mainland.  Then look for mostly sunny skies in the East Coast metro area and the Keys, while the Gulf Coast will see lots of sun.  Thursday’s highs will be near 80 degrees in the East Coast metro area, and in the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast, and the Keys.

Friday will feature another cool morning, followed by good sun and a few clouds in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and sunny skies along the Gulf Coast.  Friday’s highs will be mostly in the upper-70s.

Saturday morning will be cool, with lows on the mainland ranging from the upper-50s to the low-60s.  Then look for a nice mix of sun and clouds in the East Coast metro area and the Keys.  The Gulf Coast will see sunny skies again.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper-70s.

Sunday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies in the East Coast metro area and lots of sun along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.  Highs on Sunday will be mostly in the upper-70s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
