Girl Scouts of the USA just announced it’s new Caramel Chocolate Chip cookie that will be joining the 2019 line-up…Buzz 60’s Chandra Lanier has the story.
Move over Thin Mints — there might be a new favorite cookie in town.
The Girl Scouts are rolling out a new Caramel Chocolate Chip cookie flavor next year, the organization announced on Tuesday. It’s the first new flavor since troops began selling S’mores cookies last year, and it claims to satisfy your sweet tooth with its caramel, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and also cater to the savory side with its hint of sea salt. The new treat will be joined by the return of Toffee-tastic as the two gluten-free options for Girl Scout cookie lovers beginning Jan. 2, 2019.
But you won’t be able to order the Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies online. The Girl Scouts told Moneyish that they will only be available in select Girl Scout council markets across the country for as long as supplies last, and must be purchased from a registered Girls Scout. (So start buttering up your local troop.)
