Front Stalls Over South Florida

front

South Florida will be wet and cloudy on Father’s Day as a front stalls out over the area. After a dry start, look for showers, followed by afternoon and evening storms in spots, some of which could be strong. Highs will be mostly in the upper 80s.

Front Brings Wet Week

frontMonday will start with a few morning showers as ocean breezes develop, but we’ll see fewer, mostly inland, storms in the afternoon. We’ll also see a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches on Monday and beyond. Monday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

A few inland afternoon storms are in the forecast on Tuesday, along with sun, clouds on the breeze, a high risk of rip currents, and highs in the upper 80s.

Rain chances increase on Wednesday and Thursday, as a tropical wave passes to our south. Highs will be in the upper 80s both days.

Faith Based Events
In The Tropics

frontIn the tropics, we’re watching an area of disturbed weather near the Yucatan. It has a high chance to develop into a tropical depression as it moves through the Bay of Campeche and toward the northeast Mexican coast.
