From Warm And Breezy To Wet And Warmer

warm

South Florida will be warm and breezy on Tuesday, and some showers will move through as a sign of what’s to come. Showers were already developing in the Keys before sunrise as moisture moves in on southerly winds. We’ll see more of those showers on Tuesday, as highs top out in the low 80s.

warmWednesday will bring more showers and storms as a front approaches. Look for morning lows in the low 70s and increasing periods of rain and gusty winds during the afternoon, as highs reach the low to mid 80s. We’ll be watching the potential threat of severe weather with this system.

After the front clears South Florida, we’ll see drier and cooler weather on Thursday, with lows in the 60s and afternoon temperatures reaching the low to mid 70s.

Friday and Saturday will be mostly clear and cold for late February, with morning lows in the upper 40s to low 50s and afternoon temperatures stalling out around 70 degrees. Sunday will see highs rebound into the low 70s.
