
UPDATE # 2: Much of South Florida is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 10 pm on Friday. While the Miami-Dade and Broward metro area is not included in the watch (as of 5:30 pm), all of South Florida can expect stormy periods as a squall line moves through during the late afternoon and evening hours of Friday. Watch out for periods of heavy rain, dangerous lightning, damaging winds, and small hail. Take care while travelling to and from Good Friday observances and Passover seder tonight.

A squall line will move into western portions of the area late in the afternoon and will move through the east coast metro area early in the evening. Expect stormy periods with damaging winds, heavy rain, dangerous lightning, and small hail in spots. Take care when travelling to Good Friday observances or Passover seder tonight.
