By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Dec. 4, 2015 – South Florida’s Friday will be a washout and showers will dampen the weekend as well as a front stalls out over us. After plenty of rain overnight, Friday will bring more showers and storms, including periods of heavy rain leading to localized flooding.
A flood watch is in effect for Miami-Dade and Broward counties until 7 am Saturday. With all the rain and clouds, highs will top out in the upper 70s on Friday, a trend we’ll see lasting through Sunday.
The weekend will feature showers and clouds on the breeze, and periods of heavy rain are still possible in spots. The first half of the workweek will be a bit drier and warmer, but passing showers are still in the forecast. Look for highs in the low 80s from Monday through Wednesday.
