Fog, Clouds, And Showers As A Cold Front Arrives

South Florida will see clouds and showers on Tuesday as a front moves in, leaving behind cooler temperatures.  Tuesday starts with early fog in spots, followed by clouds and showers on a warm morning.  Then the front arrives in the afternoon, bringing cooler air.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid 80s in most locations and the low 80s along the Gulf coast.

Wednesday morning lows will be in the 60s, and the day will feature clearing skies and a cool breeze.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid 70s at east coast locations and the low 70s well inland and along the Gulf coast.

Thursday morning will be chilly, with lows in the 50s in Miami-Dade and Broward and the upper 40s along the Gulf coast and in the interior.  The day will feature good sun and a few clouds.  Thursday’s highs will be in the mid 70s.

Look for a mix of sun and clouds on Friday.  Friday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.

Faith Based Events

Saturday will bring clouds and a few showers on a brisk breeze.  Highs on Saturday will be in the low 80s

Donna Thomas has studied hurricanes for two decades. She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
