Florida Is Sunny And Seasonably Warm Thursday

Thursday features lots of sun with just a few clouds and only a chance of a stray shower on a developing sea breeze.  A moderate risk of dangerous rip currents is in place at the Atlantic beaches.  Highs on Thursday will be mostly in the upper 80s.

May has been DRY so far across ALL of South FL. In fact, all 4 climate sites are running well below normal. Let’s compare May 2020 rainfall totals to May 2021 totals-Naples went from their wettest May on record to potential driest. Much needed rain chances increase this weekend.

Friday will bring plenty of sun, a cloud or two, maybe a quick shower, and a gentle sea breeze in the afternoon.  Friday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Saturday will start the holiday weekend with sunny days with a nice afternoon sea breeze.  Saturday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s.

Sunday will see the return of a few afternoon showers and storms on the sea breeze.  Otherwise, we’ll enjoy lots of sun.  Sunday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

The forecast for Memorial Day calls for good sun, building clouds, and some afternoon showers and storms.  Highs on Monday will be in the upper 80s again.
