After a few overnight showers, Thursday features a mix of sun and clouds, maybe a passing shower on the breeze, and a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches. Highs on Thursday will be in the low 80s.

A weak front moves in on Friday, bringing sun, clouds, and a few showers on a brisk breeze. We’ll see an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches on Friday, which will last through the weekend. Friday’s highs will be mostly in the low 80s.

Saturday will feature good sun and a few clouds on the breeze. Saturday’s highs will be near 80 degrees.

Thursday marks the official end of the 2017 Atlantic hurricane season, and the tropics are quiet. But it’s been a very busy season, with 17 named storms, 10 hurricanes, 6 major hurricanes — and a direct hit on Florida by Hurricane Irma.
