The calendar says it’s February, but it feels like spring in South Florida as our stretch of warm and mostly dry weather continues. After some patchy early fog along the Gulf coast and well inland, Tuesday features good sun and a few clouds, with just the chance of a stray shower. Highs on Tuesday will be mostly in the low 80s.
Wednesday will bring more clouds and a few east coast showers, but the sun will be out as well. The rip current risk will be on the increase at the Atlantic beaches. Wednesday’s highs will be in the low to mid 80s.
Thursday’s forecast includes more of the same — sun, clouds, and a few quick east coast showers. Thursday’s highs will be in the low to mid 80s.
Look for plenty of sun to wrap up the workweek on Friday. Friday’s highs will be in the low to mid 80s.
Clouds and some showers will be back on Saturday, but the sun will be around as well. Highs on Saturday will be in the low 80s.
On Monday, we set record high minimum temperatures at all 4 climate sites. Miami – 75 (73 in 1995), Ft Lauderdale – 76 (72 in 2008), W Palm Beach – 75 (73 in 1961), and Naples – 73 (71 in 1959). It’s warm out there!
