The Feds are out with their Top Listings of some 3-Million Consumer Complaints last year.

Topping the list?

  • Debt Collection
  • Identity Theft
  • Imposter Scams.

Surprisingly, or not, TV and Electronic Media Came in #9, right behind
Automotive Complaints.

With all the bogus advertising on TV and online these days, it’s almost surprising those complaints aren’t even worse.

Why isn’t there more aggressive consumer reporting in the media these days warning you about all the scams out there?

The sales guys and management are more interested in making $$$$$ off the scammers than serving their audiences and communities.

Ever wonder why all the TV stations with their “Action Teams” never do any stories on any companies that advertises there? And what happened to our local “Action Line”?

In 2015, the Consumer Sentinel Network collected 3,083,379 total consumer complaints. Florida, Georgia and Michigan were the top three states for fraud and other complaints, while Missouri, Connecticut and Florida were the top three states for identity theft complaints.
