  • Several flavors of Outshine Fruit Bars have been recalled nationwide.
  • The frozen treats may contain shards of glass, which can cause internal injury.
  • If you have the recalled fruit bars, toss or return them.

A popular summer treat is being pulled from shelves nationwide, the Food and Drug Administration announced this week.

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. recalled multiple flavors of Outshine Fruit Bars after customers reported pieces of glass in the products.

If consumed, the recalled frozen treats could cause internal injury or laceration, but no injuries have been reported so far.
