End Of November Warmup

warmup

South Florida is experiencing a warmup on Friday as November winds down.  After a cool start, Friday features a mix of sun and clouds with an ocean breeze.  We’ll also see an increasing risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches on Friday and into the weekend.  Highs on Friday will be near 80 degrees.

Saturday will bring in more moisture to start the month of December, and we’ll see a shower or two in spots to alternate with sun and clouds.  Saturday’s highs will be in the low to mid 80s.
Sunday will feature a few more showers on the breeze, clouds, and periods of sun.  Sunday’s highs will be in the mid 80s. Sunday evening should be pleasant as the celebration of Hanukkah begins.
Look for sun, clouds, and some passing showers on Monday.  Monday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.
Tuesday’s forecast includes clouds, some sun, and periods of showers as another front approaches.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid 80s.
This is the last day of the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season, and we’re glad to see it end.  2018 was an above average year, with 15 named storms.  Two of them, Florence and Michael, were major hurricanes that devastated portions of the southeast U.S.  South Florida got off lightly this season, with one tropical storm, Gordon, forming over us on Labor Day.
