Early Fog Gives Way to Sun, Passing Showers and Clouds

Passing ShowersSouth Florida is seeing early fog on Monday, followed by a few showers. The morning starts out with fog in spots along the east coast, in the interior, and along the west coast (where dense fog is possible). Then the day will feature a mix of sun, clouds, and passing showers. A moderate risk of dangerous rip currents is in place at the Atlantic beaches. Highs on Monday will be near 80 degrees.

Tuesday morning’s lows will be in the seasonable 60s, and the day will bring a mix of sun and clouds with a few showers at times (more along the west coast). Tuesday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 70s.

Wednesday will feature good sun, some clouds at times, and a few quick showers. Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 80s.

Look for a few more showers on Thursday, but the day’s weather will also include good sun and some clouds at times. Thursday’s highs will be in the low 80s.

Faith Based Events

Friday’s forecast will feature a nice mix of sun and clouds with a stray shower in spots. Highs on Friday will be in the low 80s again.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
