Did you get your tax refund yet? Got $45 million to spare? If so, then maybe you’d like to purchase a Connecticut getaway that was once the weekend home for “The Donald” and his first wife, Ivana.
A waterfront estate in Greenwich, Conn., formerly owned by President Donald Trump, is being offered for $45 million, representing the highest-priced residential property currently available for sale in the ultra posh town.
Mashable reported that the manse was built in 1939, was awarded to Ivana in the couple’s 1991 divorce and sold in 1998 for $15 million. Trump had bought it in 1982 for $4 million.
According to a press release, “the most appropriate word to describe this property is aristocratic. The homeowners have extensively renovated and expanded the property over the years, taking the compound to new levels of luxury and refinement.”
Our guess is you probably won’t be seeing it on House Hunters any time soon. Needless to say, it’s close to shops and restaurants, is great for entertaining, has lots of natural light and plenty of space for the dogs to play in the backyard.
