Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is campaigning in Florida. Yesterday Trump held a rally in Naples that drew a crowd of more than 12,000 supporters.

Here are some of the headlines from his speech:

Washington Post: During a rare Sunday rally, Trump asks the crowd if he was right to run for president

Donald Trump does not campaign on Sundays.

He is willing to campaign nearly nonstop during the week, hopping from state to state and attending several events in one day — just not on Sundays. He made some exceptions early in the primary season, as pundits predicted incorrectly that his massive rallies would not translate into primary wins. And now that Trump is trailing Hillary Clinton in national polls with 16 days until the election, his staff scheduled a Sunday rally at the Collier County fairgrounds in rural southwest Florida, just beyond the reach of most cellphone-service providers.

Trump has said he plans to campaign as hard as he can because he does not want to look back and regret not holding “one more rally” in a key battleground state. But on Sunday evening, he seemed unsure about his original decision to run, suddenly halting from reading a teleprompter speech to ask the audience.

Wall Street Journal: Donald Trump Makes a Push in Florida

As Donald Trump’s path to the presidency appears to narrow, the GOP nominee on Sunday hunkered down in Florida, one of a handful of swing states that polls suggest remain competitive.

Mr. Trump is slated to headline five rallies over three days in the nation’s largest battleground, where more than a million voters have already mailed in ballots. In-person early voting begins Monday.

USA Today: Trump launches campaign blitz in must-win Florida

Republican Donald Trump, fighting through polls that suggest his presidential bid is slipping away, launched a campaign blitz Sunday in must-win Florida, where he will spend three days trying to avoid a loss in his second-home state.

Trump flew into Collier County Fairgrounds, in Republican-safe southwest Florida, on his helicopter to an eager crowd of more than 3,000 people Sunday.

“Are we glad that I started (campaigning)? Are we happy?” Trump said. “Well, I’ll let you know on the evening of November 8th whether I’m glad.”

Sun-Sentinel: Trump tells Naples rally: U.S. abandons Latin American friends

At a campaign rally in Naples, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trumpaccused the United States of “abandoning our friends” across Latin America.

Trump advocated for “standing up against the oppression of the Castro regime in Cuba and standing in solidarity with freedom-loving people in Venezuela.”

He continued, “all across Latina America people are living in oppression” and claimed the “ObamaClinton administration has abandoned our friends in Latin America and delivered only poverty and joblessness for Hispanic Americans right here at home.”
