Thursday features a gusty and cool breeze with cloudy skies in the morning and more sun in the afternoon in the east coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will be sunny with a gusty breeze.  Look for plenty of clouds in the Keys.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents is in place along the Gulf Coast, and there’s an elevated rip current risk at the Atlantic beaches.  Highs on Thursday will be in the upper 70s in the East Coast metro area and in the mid-70s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Friday will bring a rather chilly morning, with lows in the 50s on the mainland.  The day will be sunny with a cool and gusty breeze on the mainland, while the Keys will see good sun and a few clouds.  Friday’s highs will only reach the low 70s.

Saturday will feature morning lows in the low to mid-50s.  Look for lots of sun with a cool breeze on the mainland and a mix of sun and clouds in the Keys.  Saturday’s highs will be in the low 70s.

Sunday will start with lows in the 50s again.  The day will be sunny as a warmup begins.  Sunday’s highs will be in the mid-70s.

Faith Based Events

Monday’s forecast calls for morning lows in the upper 50s to low 60s, followed by lots of sun on the mainland and a mix of sun and clouds in the Keys.  Highs on Monday will be near 80 degrees.

It’s quiet in the tropical Atlantic.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
