South Florida will be cool again today as clouds move in. After morning lows in the mid to upper 50s, St. Patrick’s Day will feature some early sun, but clouds will blow in on an ocean breeze. That breeze sets up a moderate risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches that will last from Friday through Sunday. And the clouds will keep our highs mostly in the low 70s once again.
Saturday will be warmer, with morning lows around 60 degrees. The day brings a mix of sun and clouds, and Saturday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 70s.
Look for good sun and a few clouds on the breeze on Sunday as a weak front approaches. Highs on Sunday will be near 80 degrees.
Monday is the first day of spring, but that weak front will bring morning lows mostly in the upper 50s and afternoon highs in the upper 70s — on the cool side for mid-March. Monday’s forecast also includes a nice mix of sun and clouds.
