first day

first dayIt’s a cool first day of spring by South Florida standards. After Monday morning lows in the upper 50s to low 60s, cooler air works its way in behind the weak front that’s now to our south. Monday will feature good sun, a few clouds on a cool ocean breeze, and an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches. Highs on Monday will only reach the mid 70s in most locations and top out in the low 70s right at the coast.

first dayTuesday will get off to a cool start, with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Then the day will begin a slow warming trend as good sun takes over, with just a few clouds and maybe a stray shower to interfere. Tuesday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 70s.

After a mild Wednesday morning, we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds as the slow warm-up continues. Highs on Wednesday will be near 80 degrees.
