A Cold Front Late Tonight Will Drop Thursday’s Temperatures

cold frontAnother cold front is on the way to South Florida on Wednesday. After a mild morning, Wednesday features a mix of sun and clouds, with building clouds and a few showers late in the day as the front approaches. Highs on Wednesday will be mostly in the low 70s. Temperatures will drop quickly after the front clears our area overnight.

Thursday morning lows will be in the 40s — but the breeze will make it feel even colder. Thursday will bring good sun and a few clouds on a chilly breeze. Thursday’s highs will be in the wintry low to mid 60s.

Friday morning will be chilly, and the day will be cool, with plenty of sun and a few clouds. Friday’s highs will be mostly in the low 70s.

We’ll see a nice mix of sun and clouds on Saturday. Saturday’s highs will be in the mid 70s.

Faith Based Events

The warming trend continues on Sunday, with sun, clouds, and seasonable temperatures. Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 70s.

Donna Thomas has studied hurricanes for two decades. She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
