Wednesday features a cool morning, followed by plenty of clouds and showers on a gusty breeze.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, especially along the Palm Beach County coast.  Highs on Wednesday will be mostly in the upper-60s in the East Coast metro area, near 60 degrees along the Gulf Coast, and in the mid-60s in the Keys.

Thursday will bring another cool start, with lows in the 50s to the 60-degree mark on the mainland.  Then we’ll see another cloudy day with periods of showers.  Look for a gusty breeze near the Gulf Coast.  Thursday’s highs will be in the upper-60s in the East Coast metro area and mostly in the low-60s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Friday will feature a cold morning, with lows ranging from the upper-40s to the low-50s on the mainland and the upper-50s in the Keys.  The day will see a mix of sun and clouds on the mainland and plenty of clouds and a few showers in the Keys.  Friday’s highs will top out near 60 degrees on the mainland and the low-60s in the Keys.

Saturday morning will be cold again, with lows on the mainland reaching the low to mid-40s.  Then look for lots of sun on the mainland and mostly sunny skies in the Keys.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper-60s in the East Coast metro area and the mid-60s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Faith Based Events

Sunday’s forecast calls for morning lows in the more seasonable mid-50s to low-60s on the mainland, followed by more clouds than sun on the mainland and mostly sunny skies in the Keys.  Highs on Sunday will be in the mid-70s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
