The Sidewalk Sale will run at both stores from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. with 100% of the sales going directly to The Gabriel House. All of the merchandise offered at the sidewalk sale is donated by the stores.

“If you’ve attended this event in the past you, know how much fun it is and what great bargains we offer. We encourage everyone to arrive early. Once the items are gone, the Sidewalk Sale is over,” said Phil Baker, owner, Clothes Mentor Naples.

Baker recommends that shoppers plan on arriving early to secure their place on the line. “Last year the line started forming in front of our store an hour before the sale started. There were dozens of women in line, excited to fill their shopping bag with clothing and shoes from Chico’s, Ann Taylor, St. John, Escada, Tory Burch, Eileen Fisher, Lilly Pulitzer and more,” he added.

In addition to the Sidewalk Sale, Clothes Mentor is having a 20% storewide sale on all merchandise in the store.

Clothes Mentor is a women’s resale store that features name brand clothing, handbags, jewelry and accessories. All-day, every day, Clothes Mentor pays CASH on-the-spot, to purchase better brand-name “gently-used” women’s fashions and accessories.

Due to the remarkable success of the fundraiser, both stores have raised nearly $28,000 for Edward and Annie R. Ravish, founders of The Gabriel House.

“We care about our children and the Gabriel House needs our help,” Baker added.

According to Ed Ravish, Director, The Gabriel House, the money raised from the Sidewalk Sale have been a “lifesaver.”  The funds have helped the not for profit cover monthly expenses and unexpected repairs.

The Gabriel House rescues children who have been abandoned, discarded and who are in need of medical treatment. The vision is to rescue, rehabilitate and help these children reach their highest level of independence and functioning.
