Chilly Morning, Then Sunny and Cool

Tuesday features a chilly morning, followed by lots of sun and a cool and gusty breeze.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents is in effect along the Gulf Coast, and there’s an elevated rip current risk at the Atlantic beaches.  Highs on Tuesday will be mostly in the mid-70s, with a few suburban East Coast metro locations reaching the upper-70s.

Wednesday will bring chilly morning lows in the 50s on the mainland and the mid-60s in the Keys.  The day will be sunny around South Florida.  Expect a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches.  Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the upper-70s on the mainland and the mid-70s in the Keys.

Thursday will feature morning lows in the upper-50s to mid-60s on the mainland.  Then look for lots of sun with maybe a cloud or two at times.  Thursday’s highs will be mostly in the low-80s in the East Coast metro area and the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Friday morning will be mild, with lows mostly in the mid-60s on the mainland.  Then we’ll see another sunny day throughout South Florida.  Friday’s highs will be mostly in the low-80s in the East Coast metro area and the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Faith Based Events

Saturday’s forecast calls for another mild morning and yet another sunny day.  Highs on Saturday will be in the low-80s on the mainland and near 80 degrees in the Keys.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
