Affected models feature black plastic, stainless steel, or natural wooden handles. Most units have the Cuisinart logo stamped directly on the handle piece. Retailers like Walmart, Burlington, TJ Maxx, Ross, and Amazon sold these items nationwide.
This safety alert follows several other massive grill brush recalls earlier this year. Both Weber and Nexgrill recalled millions of wire brushes over identical ingestion dangers. Experts recommend switching to safer tools like bristle-free coil scrubbers, wooden scrapers, or grill stones.
Safety officials urge consumers to stop using these recalled brushes immediately. Conair is offering a full cash refund for every affected brush.
