Building Breeze, Plenty of Showers

By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Oct. 16, 2015 – A building breeze and plenty of showers are in South Florida’s forecast on Friday. After a mostly dry start on the mainland (but wet in the Keys), showers will move as a weak front slips through. Some spots could see heavy rainfall Friday afternoon. Highs will be mostly in the mid 80s. Winds will pick up over the weekend, and the risk of dangerous rip currents will be on the increase as well. Showers will blow through on the strong breeze on Saturday and Sunday, and highs will top out in the mid 80s. Another front passes through late Sunday, bringing windy conditions, clouds and showers, and highs in the low 80s from Monday into Wednesday.
