Today, they are releasing a sketch and description of the suspect. If you know anything, you are urged to contact authorities before this mans strikes again. Here’s the information from BSO:
Broward Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit detectives are releasing a drawing of the man who snatched a teenage girl from the sidewalk and raped her early Monday morning. Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the rapist.
At approximately 7 a.m. on October 19, a 16-year-old girl was grabbed by an unidentified assailant as she walked to school. The man seized the victim by the head. He covered her eyes and mouth with his hands. The victim struggled but was unable to break free. The suspect forcibly dragged the victim away from the street to a nearby grassy area. The man raped the girl and fled on foot.
The rapist is described as a black male in his 30s with young facial features and slanted eyes. He has a disheveled dirty mustache and dark beard with lighter-brown tips and black dirty matted hair with lighter-brown tips.
The rape occurred near the 2800 block of N.W. 14 St., in Fort Lauderdale.
