Breezy With Showers On A Warm Sunday

By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist,, Dec. 13, 2015 – South Florida will be breezy with showers on a warm Sunday. After some early showers mainly in the Keys, look for ocean breezes to bring in passing showers and a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the beaches. Sunday’s highs will be in the unseasonably warm mid 80s.image3

The breeze will begin to relax on Monday, but the warmth and a few showers will linger. Monday’s highs will be in the mid 80s, and those warm temperatures will be the story throughout the workweek.

Passing showers will also be in the forecast this week, with rain chances increasing a bit on Friday as a front approaches. Computer models now agree that a front will clear South Florida late on Friday or early Saturday, bringing drier air and more December-like temperatures next weekend.
