Breezy And Warm; Dangerous Waters On The East Coast

South Florida is still breezy on Wednesday as it gets warmer. After a mild morning, Wednesday features good sun and a few clouds on the breeze (which will be gusty in the afternoon along the east coast). A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches. Highs on Wednesday will be near 80 degrees.

Thursday morning will be seasonably mild, with lows in the mid to upper 60s. Then we’ll see good sun and a few clouds. Thursday’s highs will be in the low 80s.

Good Friday will bring sun, some clouds at times, and maybe a few east coast showers. Friday evening will be warm and pleasant as Passover begins at sundown. Friday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.

Look for a few showers on Saturday, especially along the east coast. But most of the time, we’ll see good sun and a few clouds. Saturday’s highs will be in the low 80s.

Faith Based Events

Easter Sunday will feature a mix of sun and clouds, and those east coast showers could show up. Highs on Sunday will be in the low 80s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
