MANALAPAN — Rocker Billy Joel took a quick break from his current tour to slash the asking price for his Palm Beach County home.
Joel, 66, re-listed his adjacent South Ocean Boulevard properties in Manalapan this week for a total $27 million, down from $29 million last year.
The Piano Man still would make a mint. He bought them for a combined $18.2 million in 2014!
Joel has been unsuccessful at getting rid of the 9-bedroom, 9-bathroom Atlantic-to-Intracoastal mansion at 1920 South Ocean Boulevard and the vacant lot next door for month, probably the result of a softening luxury real estate market, according to real estate sources.
