Baseball Coach Sexually Abused A Player, Called It A Game

David Solomon (BSO)

By Broward Sheriff’s Office, Cooper City, July 24, 2015 – Over several months, a baseball coach with Cooper City’s Optimist League used his position to gain access to young victims. Special Victim’s Unit detectives arrested David Solomon on July 23 for two counts of sexual assault on a victim under 12 years old.

As early as April 2015, David Solomon subjected a child under his supervision to sexual acts under the guise of playing a game. On multiple occasions, Solomon put his hands on the victim’s private parts when he was alone with the child driving the victim home or while at Solomon’s home for a sleepover.

A second victim has come forward and Solomon may face additional charges. Broward Sheriff’s SVU detectives believe that there may yet be additional victims.

Solomon is in the Broward County Jail being held withOUT bond.
