KEY WEST — Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter needs to Quit Playing Games with the law because the boy band singer just got arrested in a scuffle in a Key West bar!
Former Dancing With The Stars standout Carter, one of the Orlando-raised bubble-gum pop stars, was nabbed last night after a disturbance at Key West‘s famous Hog’s Breath Saloon — where, as they say in the Conch Republic, hog’s breath is better than no breath!
Carter was charged with one count of misdemeanor battery.
At the jail, the perfectly coiffed-even-after-a-barfight 35-year-old listed his profession as singer!
Last night’s incident wasn’t Carter’s first brush with the law.
He was arrested for resisting an officer at a Tampa nightclub in 2002. He then got busted in 2005 for DUI in southern California.
He tried to clean up his image last year by appearing on, and nearly winning ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.
With this latest arrest, Carter may need to schedule an encore performance.
The band’s next gig is a singing cruise in May in Europe.
