Another Wet Day With Some Afternoon Storms Expected

Afternoon Storms

Afternoon StormsMore showers and storms will be around in South Florida on Tuesday. After some overnight showers, the day features plenty of clouds and enough tropical moisture to create passing showers and some afternoon storms. Highs on Tuesday will be in the humid upper 80s.

The breeze picks up on Wednesday as a midlevel trough brings in even more moisture and instability. We’ll see clouds, showers, and storms on Wednesday, and some of those storms could be strong, with gusty winds, dangerous lightning, and heavy rain. Wednesday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Showers and storms will continue to stream in on Thursday, and we could see localized flooding from the periods of heavy rain. Highs on Thursday will be in the upper 80s.

We won’t escape the passing showers and storms on Friday, but look for some slightly drier air to start moving in. Friday’s highs will be in the upper 80s again.

Faith Based Events

Saturday will bring periods of sun, some clouds and quick showers, and afternoon storms. Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 80s.
