Another Warm Breezy Day And A 7 Day Forecast

South Florida will be breezy again and seasonably warm on Friday.

breezyLook for sun, some clouds and maybe an isolated shower on the ocean breeze, the high risk of dangerous rip currents at the beaches, and highs in the low 80s.

Saturday will be one more breezy day before our pattern changes. The day features sun, clouds and a quick shower on the breeze, a continuing risk of rip currents, and highs in the low 80s.

breezyDon’t forget to move your clocks forward one hour late on Saturday for the start of Daylight Saving Time early Sunday.

Sunday will see clouds, some passing showers, and highs in the low 80s.

Some showers will be around on Monday, and highs will reach the low 80s. Look for sun, clouds, and highs in the low 80s on Tuesday.

Donna Thomas has studied hurricanes for two decades. She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
