By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Aug 14, 2015 – South Florida will be stormy again on Friday afternoon and into the evening. After a muggy morning with a few passing showers, look for building clouds, highs in the low 90s, and storms forming in the afternoon. Some storms could be strong, with heavy downpours, dangerous lightning, gusty winds, and the potential for small hail. Localized flooding is possible in spots.
Saturday will see a shift to more easterly winds, but the day will still feature fairly widespread afternoon storms, including periods of heavy rain in some locations. Saturday’s highs will be around 90 degrees.
Storms will form on the sea breeze on Sunday and will mostly affect inland areas. Sunday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
The first half of the workweek will feature mostly inland afternoon storms and highs in the low 90s.
