According to Bloomberg, an analysis of IRS statistics shows Fisher Island, the 216-acre island accessible by ferry from the MacArthur Causeway, boasts an average income of $2.5 million, according to tax returns for 2015, the latest available.
That’s more than $1 million higher than the second highest zip code in the country, Atherton in Silicon Valley, and $1.25 million more than Palm Beach, which clocks in at No. 3.
At No. 15 Naples 34102, with $695,000 in average income, is the third and last Florida city in the top 20.
