Last month it was announced that mega-star, Shakira was selling her Miami house on North Bay Road. It has gone on the market for a cool $11.4 million. This stretch is a magnet for celebrities, drawn in by the architectural opulence of the houses and the outlook over the ocean. Of course Miami is a magnet for the rich and famous, and we can’t help but be fascinated. Here are some of the other amazing celebrity properties you can find in the area.

Celebrity spotting in Miami is easy – there is a reason that they are drawn to the area, you only have to look out at the crystal blue ocean. Some of the most incredible properties are there for you to see – you’ll have to just imagine swimming in those infinity pools though.

Calvin Klein

Located on North Bay Road in Miami Beach, is the home of celebrity designer Calvin Klein – it recently sold for $12,850,000. You had to sell a lot of little white t-shirts for that. The house itself is was built in the colonial style in 1929. It is 5,800 feet squared, with an additional 2,000 feet of outdoor living space including an incredible infinity pool. There are five bedrooms, with en-suite bathrooms and a beautiful courtyard. The listing on Zillow has some amazing photographs of the house.

Phil Collins

A bit further up the road from Calvin Klein, is former Genesis drummer, Phil Collins’ house. Collins bought it from J-Lo for a staggering $33 million. Built in 1929, the house is built in the Mediterranean revival style, and is 12,152 square feet. It comes complete with a cinema, a magnificent wine cellar, and something that every prog rock star needs – a 6,000 gallon pond for koi carp.

It was also essential to make some improvements to the house, including a master suite with a gym made out of three previous bedrooms. Phil must be doing some serious working out to keep fit for playing the drums.

LeBron James

3590 Crystal View Ct., Miami
(Zillow.com)

Crystal Court was the home of this NBA star LeBron James – he sold it in 2015 for a whopping $13.4 million. It comes complete with it’s own theatre, chef’s kitchen, six bedrooms, eight  bathrooms, and of course an infinity edge pool. There are also two  yacht spaces on the dock, just in case visitors happen to cruise by.

Dwayne Wade

Dwayne is another North Bay Road resident. His Mediterranean style house is 13,000 square foot and incorporates eight bedrooms, a tennis court, a pool, living quarters for the maids and poolside cabanas, in case you need shelter from the tropical sun. The house is beautiful, but very conservative in comparison to the Chateau Artisan – the $11 million castle that Dwayne and Gabrielle Union were married in. The Chateau, surrounded by a landlocked moat has been on the market since. You too could have your own wedding ceremony with five wardrobe changes, descending planks of food for the guests, and live chickens wandering around everywhere.
