Few ShowersSouth Florida will see just a few showers on Friday, but a wet weekend is ahead. In the meantime, Friday features a mix of sun and clouds, with a few evening showers passing through. Highs on Friday will be in the mid 80s along the east coast and near 90 degrees along the Gulf coast and in the interior.

Saturday morning will see a few showers in spots, along with lows in the low to mid 70s. Then the day will bring some sun, building clouds, and periods of showers and storms — including some heavy downpours. Saturday’s highs will be mostly in the mid 80s.

Mother’s Day will be rainy, with showers, storms, and clouds, with heavy rain at times. Sunday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.

Monday will bring another round of showers and storms, along with plenty of clouds. Monday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.

Tuesday is predicted to be the first day of the rainy season, and it will live up to it, with periods of showers and storms in the afternoon, adding up to a total of 2 to 4 inches of rain since the start of the weekend. Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid 80s.
