Who says it has to be a cruel summer? CENA by Michy is alleviating the summer blues by bringing Endless Fried Chicken Feast back for a limited time. Since award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein and husband/partner David Martinez re-opened their newly renovated MiMO landmark Michy’s as CENA by Michy in May 2015, fans have been clamoring for the James Beard Award-winning chef’s to-die-for fried chicken, a longtime Michy’s summer staple.
The special weekly Wednesday night all-you-care-to-eat fried chicken feast had locals lined up to dig in each summer. “People kept asking if we were going to have fried chicken on the CENA menu,” said Bernstein. “Our Michy’s regulars loved it so much we decided to bring it back at CENA for fans, old and new.” The promotion will start Wednesday, July 15, 2015 and run through the summer months.
This unbeatable weekly special – priced at $39 per person, excluding tax/gratuity and beverage – features endless helpings of Bernstein’s signature recipe fried chicken – flavorful and crisp, juicy but not greasy – served with a bottomless parade of sides: flaky biscuits, mashed potatoes ‘n gravy, Southern slaw, and watermelon wedge salad.
CENA by Michy is located at 6927 Biscayne Boulevard in Miami. Dinner is served nightly. Telephone: (305) 759-2001; www.cenabymichy.com. Hours of operation: Tuesday – Thursday, 6PM-11PM, Friday & Saturday, 6PM-11:30PM, and Sunday, from 6PM-10PM. Reservations are suggested.
