Wednesday features a seasonably cool morning, followed by lots of sun and a few clouds at times.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the low-80s on the East Coast, the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Thursday will bring morning lows in the seasonable low- to mid-60s on the mainland.  The day will be sunny again on the mainland, but look for more clouds than sun and a few showers in the Keys.  Thursday’s highs will be in the low 80s on the East Coast and in the upper 70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Friday will feature a mild morning, with lows in the mid- to upper-60s on the mainland.  Then look for sunny skies around South Florida.  Friday’s highs will be near 80 degrees on the mainland and in the upper-70s in the Keys.

Saturday morning lows on the mainland will be in the mid to upper-60s again.  The day will be sunny on the mainland, while the Keys will see a nice mix of sun and clouds.  Saturday’s highs will be mainly in the low-80s in the East Coast metro area and the upper 70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Sunday’s forecast calls for another mild morning, followed by good sun and some clouds.  Highs on Sunday will be near 80 degrees in the East Coast metro area and mainly in the mid-70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
